Chrome extensions - that I can't live with out.

I am a big fan of chrome browser (and most products from Google btw) and I use it for most browsing except for few websites that won't work very well with chrome. Another good thing with this browser is it comes with a lot of extensions that are easy to install and great to use.

I personally use the below extensions and I find them really useful.

1. Google dictionary:

This extension is from Google. This extension gives the meaning of any word in the webpage.
You just need to double click on the word and a small bubble appears with the meaning of the word.
I tired with tamil words and it works exceptionally well. This will be helpful for anyone reading pages in languages where they don't find the meaning of some words.
The only drawback with this product is it can't work on links. ie: you can't find the meaning of the word that's appearing in a link. This can be disappointing at times and hopefully Google will find a way to fix it in future.

2. Incredible StartPage - Productive Start Page for Chrome!

I recently came to know about this extension by review from friend in facebook. I was initially hesitant, then I used it and now I'm glad that I did. It comes up with 4 or 5 nice sticky notes that are very handy and very useful. I use each note for a different purpose....things to buy in grocery :) , people to call etc..

My first blog

Today is Nov 03rd 2011 and I am happy that my first blog is born today.
My experience with blogs so far are reading blogs....a lot of them...I am a vivid reader of blogs and that can be a understatement. I read blogs for a very long time without knowing it's too late in the night to sleep.

Today my blog joined the billion or zillion of web pages. I have started the blog to
improve my written skills and I hoping to put some useful content in near future.

Thanks for paying a visit!
